WHY TO WEAR A SWIM CAP?
       To keep you hair dry
       To protect you hair from pool chlorine damage
       To reduce drag in the water caused by loose hair
       To keep water away from ears, for a medical reasons
       To add a fashion look, compliment a swimsuit or
       make you look an Olympic star    

TYPES OF SWIM CAPS: There are different types of swim caps:

Latex swim caps:Latex swim caps are available in many colors and are inexpensive. People with latex allergies should not use latex swim caps. Rash, swelling and redness of the ears are possible signs that should be reported to your doctor if they appear after wearing a latex swim cap. Latex caps are very thin, can be easily torn and are difficult to put on.

Silicone swim caps: Originally designed as an alternative to latex caps for protection against latex allergy. Silicone swim caps come in a wide variety of colors and are very streamlined. Many swimmers get years use from silicone swim cap and swim on daily basis.

Lycra swim caps: These caps will not keep out of water. Very light in weight they are good for swimmers with long hair who want to keep it out from eyes.

Fancy swim caps: These swim caps may be decorated with rubber flowers or may be covered with fabric or "what not". They are more attractive for aquatic exercisers.


HOW TO PUT A SWIM CAP? The best way to put a swim cap is to hold it by the sides and bend your head down. Start putting the cap on at the forehead and work it down to the nape of you neck. After each use rinse you cap in cold water and wipe dry. Do not leave swim caps exposed to direct light.  

ATTENTION: If you wish to swim cap less rinse well your hair after you swim and use conditioner. You can use special hair shampoo plus conditioner for swimmers. It's formulated to neutralize chlorine from swimmer's hair and at the same time conditions and restore shine and vitality into the swimmer's hair.
